Gerunds

Gerunds can be used to form continuous tenses such as the present or continuous or the present perfect continuous.

Gerunds are used with the verb and the ending "ing" and so simply we can form gerunds, some examples:

-We enjoy laughing with our friends.

-She is having a beer with her friends de ella.

-I have been living in Madrid for 12 years.

An example in which they use gerunds is in the DC movie "Wonder Woman" in which they use the following sentence:

"You stopped me from Killing Ares!"
